JOLLIBEE VIRAL AD CAMPAIGN

The internet is on fire!!! My goodness! Yesterday, I watched the first Jollibee ad on my Facebook feed because it was shared so many times. I got curious because everyone seemed to react favorably to the ads. I decided to watch the other ads and boy oh boy I guess I know why Jollibee is having a major social media moment now and they're practically burning the internet wires in the Philippines or maybe even worldwide. I'm pretty sure that Jollibee is every Filipino's favorite "big bee".

The #KwentongJollibee viral ad campaign were inspired by true stories of love and each standalone episode has been pulling one-too-many heartstrings over the internet. Have you watched any? If you haven't yet, here you go:

CRUSH
Directed by Joel Ruiz
"Para sa mga hindi naggive-up sa pag-ibig."
"For those who didn't give up on love."

DATE
Directed by Pepe Diokno
"Para sa pagmamahalang walang katapusan."
"For love that never ends."

My goodness! Who's slicing onions at this hour? This episode reminded me so much of P.S I Love You. If you won't shed a tear after watching this then you are not a mortal.

VOW
Directed by Ianco Dela Cruz
"Para sa mga patuloy na nagmahal nang walang hinintay na kapalit."
"For those who continue to love without conditions."

Whoever taught about this Kuwentong Jollibee Valentine Series is a genius! Give him/her a raise pronto!

Which #KwentongJollibeeValentineSeries appealed to you the most? Were you able to relate to any of the stories? Do you have your own story? I would love to know. Please feel free to share in the comments box below.

  1. I think it worked well because of the storyboard and cinematography. and the effing script for "The Vow". I mean come ON!?!?! I thought he was the actual groom the whole time! Inviting your best friend who has a secret crush on you for so long is just a bad and hurtful move. REALLY. And that DATE video? MAN. Everytime I watch it I still cry. and I only watched it 3 times because I don't want to cry. T_T
